Extremely Disappointed Again!
Keep in mind when reading this review that I am a past Madonna fan of thirty-five years, having attended six Madonna tours and owning much of the memorabilia. Unfortunately, I have much of the memorabilia. Over the years, including seven shows total.
An individual in the workforce, professional or not, adhere to a work schedule to respect everyone. Especially when providing no apology or accountability. Starting a concert at 11:00 pm, originally scheduled for 9:00 pm following an 8:00 pm pre-show is disrespectful for everyone.
I know young people who were so excited about the concert before the show. I personally transported a young individual to her requested destination to keep her safe and out of the inclement weather. However, stranded in the freezing cold after the concert ended, because the transportation they were depending on was unavailable. Due to the late hour the concert ended.
Individuals claiming they have hard work ethics and values are definitely not presented when they are the concert performer and show up on stage in this case around 2 hours late. And up to three hours late for other venues. I know of other concert attendees who had to leave the venue before the concert began to keep their work schedule.
Madonna had a reputation of a consummate entertainer/artist. She presented herself in a light of unintelligence and lack of sophistication. The performance in itself was repetitive of previous tours. Madonna was vulgar, slandering, self-absorbed in a disrespectful manner. Madonna and her dancers' performance was not up to par of previous tours and recent performances. The vocals were as expected, however the song remixes were lackluster.
This type of attitude and performance was also presented at the MDNA Tour.
